Woven Structures
The pattern which arises during the weaving process is determined by the technique, the loom and the yarns. These restrictions make the development of woven structures and its patterns like an endless challenge to me.
Ever since I started to weave in 2008 – first as an extension of my design- and craft skills – I enjoy to play and discover new combinations. During this process I focus on making samples, rather than weaving large pieces of fabric. All my works are woven on a 8-harness Louët table loom.
